Description: |
Annual herb up to 80 cm. tall. Leaves 3-foliolate or pinnate, the leaflets narrowly linear to filiform. Capitula solitary, terminal on long slender peduncles. Outer involucral bracts 4-9, often recurved or reflexed, linear, up to 8 mm. long. Ligule of ray-florets yellow, up to c. 1 cm. long (sometimes rudimentary or absent). Achenes dark brown, c. 2 cm. long, ± compressed, narrowly linear with a distinct beak. |
