Description:
Robust terrestrial herb, up to 80 cm. Leaves along the stem, the lowest leaves sheathing with dark reticulate veining, middle leaves spreading. Inflorescence up to 30 cm, densely many-flowered. Flowers green, white in the centre. Sepals all reflexed. Petals two-lobed, upper lobes erect, curving back, lower lobes spreading lanceolate, often with split, acute tip. Lip three-lobed, lobes linear, deflexed, mid-lobe slightly longer than side lobes. Spur 20-30 mm. inflated near the apex. Stigmatic arms and anther channels diverging at about 60°, pointing forward.
