Description:
Small epiphytic herb with ovoid pseudobulbs 13–25 mm long, smooth and green when young, later yellowish and wrinkled; 1-leafed at apex. Pseudobulbs set close together on the rhizome to form dense mats. Leaf stiff, usually light green, erect, oblanceolate, 6–10 cm long. Inflorescence terminal, c. 10 cm long, densely 20–40-flowered. Flowers non-resupinate, greenish-yellow to creamy-yellow, very small. Ovary and pedicel 5 mm long. Bracts acuminate, 3 mm long. Sepals ovate, acute, reflexed; dorsal sepal 2.5 mm long. Lip oblong 2.5 mm long, more or less 4-lobed, with 2 small calli at the base.

Habitat: Epiphyte in evergreen forest.

Worldwide distribution: Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Mozambique, Madagascar, Reunion and in Asia from, Sri Lanka and India to the Philippines, New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Fiji.
