Description:
Erect, sometimes somewhat scrambling annual herb, 20-50 cm high; stems pubescent in the lowers part. Leaves densely concentrated near the base of the plant, sessile, narrowly obovate or elliptic, 1.5-4.5 cm long, more or less densely hairy; margin obscurely toothed. Capitula solitary terminal on long hairless peduncles. Involucre cylindric, 5.5-6.5 mm long and c. 3.5 mm wide; bracts 11, 5-7 mm long, hairless. Disc florets 4.5- 5.2 mm long, orange; ray florets absent. Achenes 1.5-2.2 mm long, hairless; pappus 3.5-4 mm long.
