Description:
Rhizome shortly creeping, up to 5 mm diameter; scales up to 5 mm long, shiny brown, lanceolate, entire. Fronds tufted, not proliferous. Stipe 10-20 cm, matt brown, subglabrous, base scales similar to rhizome. Lamina 11-25 cm × 3-20 cm, 3-pinnate to 5-pinnatifid, ovate-triangular in outline. Pinnae glabrous, ultimate lobes with toothed margins at the apex. Sori 1-2, elliptic, situated on the ultimate segments, indusium entire.
