Description: |
Perennial herb, up to 70 cm tall. Leaves 6-10, basal, half as long as the stem; 3-5 short, sheathing leaves along the slightly compressed unwinged and unbranched stem. Flowers in 3-8, 2-4-flowered clusters, together forming a spike-like arrangement, blue. Spathes and bracts with lacerate margins. Capsule 6-10 mm long, ellipsoid-ovoid. |
