Description:
Low perennial herb, less than 20 cm growing from corms. Plants stemless, tufted. Leaves few, up to 30 cm, similar to the bracts. Inflorescence branched with 3 to 6 flowers per branch. Flowers ivory-white with long narrow tepals and a long, up to 14 cm, perianth tube. The flowers are strongly scented, particularly in the evening.
