Description:
Shrub, usually climbing. Leaves lanceolate to elliptic with medifixed hairs. Inflorescences 3-4 cm; flowers 5-merous, yellowish-green. Petals up to 2 × 1 mm. Fruit up to 2 cm, ellipsoid, yellow to pale orange.
Notes: Not recorded from Malawi in Flora Zambesiaca (Volume 2 part 2: 336, 1963).

Habitat: In woodland and in riverine and montane forest
