Description:
|
Erect or ascending annual, up to 1.8 m tall but usually much shorter. Leaves oblong-lanceolate, up to 14 cm long, thinly leathery, 3-5-veined from the base, sparingly appressed hairy or almost hairless; margin distinctly toothed. Flowers in axillary spikes with glandular peduncles, unisexual. Male flowers short-lived, greenish; female flowers, with white petals, Fruit up to 4.5 × 7 mm, 3-lobed, covered in glandular hairs, green. |
