Description: |
Small to medium-sized tree. Leaves spirally arranged, ovate-elliptic, usually c. 5 - 8 cm, glossy green above, paler and dull green below; midrib conspicuous, yellowish; margin entire, wavy or rolled under; petiole pink. Flowers in axillary or terminal panicles, white, fragrant. Fruit in branched, hanging clusters, flattened, black when ripe, with a bright red appendage making the fruits look kidney-shaped. |
