Erect annual or perennial herb, usually up to 50 cm, rarely taller. Leaves opposite lower on the stem, alternate higher up, greyish-green, often with a reddish tinge, linear to lanceolate, rough to the touch. Capitula several, c. 5 mm in diameter on long glandular peduncles. Ray florets white to pink, turning deep purple-red when old; disk-florets yellow. |
