Description:
Plants up to 45 cm tall; leaves usually 3, mostly sheathing, 4-8 cm long, lanceolate to narrowly lanceolate; inflorescence laxly few flowered; ovary 10-15 mm long; bracts narrowly ovate, about as long as ovary; flowers mauve-blue to greenish-brown speckled purple, somewhat downward facing; dorsal sepal elliptic, forming a hood c. 6-9(11) mm long, 3.5-5(6) mm wide and 3-4 mm deep; spur 3-4 mm long, conical to sub-cylindrical, ±horizontal; lateral sepals spreading, 7.5-11 mm long, obliquely oblong-elliptic; petals 5.5-6(7) mm long, falcate, erect inside the hood; lip spreading, 5.5-8.5 mm long, linear-elliptic, rounded.
