Description: |
Plant to 80 cm, with membranous corms, becoming fibrous and matted with age. Leaves both basal and cauline. Spike with 5-9 flowers. Upper tepal large, arched, 4.5 - 5.5 cm. Flowers bright red, the lower tepals each with a white to yellow streak; the markings spathulate on the lower lateral tepals. Filaments well exserted; anthers apiculate. |
