Description: |
Perennial herb. Stems sparsely branched, mostly creeping or climbing, up to 2.3 m long, distinctly 4-angled set with small recurved prickles. Leaves in whorls of 6, more or less broadly elliptic to obovate, single-veined; apex acuminate; margin entire but set with small recurved prickles. Inflorescence very reduced, 1-3-flowered. Flowers 3-4 mm in diameter greenish white to yellowish. Fruit densely covered in brownish hooked hairs. |
