Description: |
Perennial herb up to 75 cm high, growing from corms. Basal leaf solitary, linear, 8-12 mm wide, shortly longer than the stem, channeled or flat. Stem erect, simple, with 2-3 widely spaced sheathing leaves, 9-11 cm long, green with a dry brown apex. Flowers yellow with deeper yellow-brown nectar guides on outer tepals; outer tepals mostly 60-75 mm long; inner tepals 40-70 mm long, lanceolate, erect. |

Habitat: | In rocky grassland,along forest margins and in light woodland. Also in seasonally wet areas. |
