Description:
Epiphytic, occasionally lithophytic, herb. Pseudobulbs clustered, oblong, somewhat bilaterally flattened, ribbed, 2.5–4.5 cm long, yellowish, 2–4-leaved. Leaves folded along the length, 8–17 cm long, usually absent or just about to develop at flowering time. Inflorescence laxly up to c. 15-flowered, 12–30 cm long, pubescent. Flowers facing down, orange, petals with a red central line, lip with a magenta tip and red veins on the side lobes. Sepals fleshy, pubescent on outer surface. Lip fleshy, 8–10 mm long, 3-lobed at about halfway with a yellow, clavate pubescent callus at the junction of the lobes.
