Description:
Erect epiphytic or lithophytic herb. Stem somewhat woody, up to 12 cm. Leaves 7-14, linear, leathery, 3.5-5.5 cm long, unequally 2-lobed at the apex, spreading, twisted to lie in one plane, facing upwards. Inflorescences short, 2-5 flowered, arising below and among the leaves. Flowers yellowish-green, fading to straw-coloured. Sepals and petals similar, more or less lanceolate-ovate, c. 2.5 mm. Lip 3.5-4 mm distinctly 3-lobed in the apical half; side lobed spreading, slightly longer than mid-lobe.
Notes:
Derivation of specific name: verrucosa: verrucose or with a surface covered in warts.
Habitat: On rocks in woodland, usually in exposed situations.
